European innovation does not happen only inside proposals, work packages or project meetings. It happens where organisations meet, exchange ideas, build consortia, test partnerships and connect project results with policy, industry, society and investment opportunities.

In 2026, the Nexuswelt team will be active across selected European events linked to Horizon Europe, EU innovation programmes, sustainability, clean energy, blue economy, urban transitions, advanced manufacturing, startup ecosystems and Ukraine recovery cooperation.

This page brings together the key upcoming events where Nexuswelt plans to participate, follow discussions, host or co-host activities, and meet partners and clients. If you are attending one of these events and would like to discuss EU-funded projects, dissemination, communication, exploitation, consortium building or impact strategy, the Nexuswelt team will be happy to meet you there.

Why these events matter for EU-funded projects

EU-funded projects increasingly need more than a strong technical concept. They need a clear impact pathway, credible stakeholder engagement, targeted communication, realistic exploitation planning and visibility in the right European ecosystems.

Events such as the EIC Summit, European Maritime Day, European Sustainable Energy Week, Horizon Europe brokerage events and the DUT Conference are important because they bring together the people who shape and implement Europe’s innovation agenda: policy actors, project coordinators, research institutions, SMEs, startups, investors, cities, clusters and industry representatives.

For organisations preparing Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, LIFE, Interreg, EIC or other EU-funded projects, these events can support partner search, proposal positioning, consortium building, dissemination planning and long-term exploitation. For Nexuswelt, they are also an opportunity to understand emerging project needs directly from the ecosystem and to connect with partners and clients looking for practical support in EU project communication and impact.

Featured Nexuswelt activity: EU Green Week 2026 Partner Event

8 June 2026 | From Nature-Based Ideas to Projects and Investment | Brussels, Belgium

As part of EU Green Week 2026, Nexuswelt and Balkan Consult Group will co-host the partner event From Nature-Based Ideas to Projects and Investment in Brussels.

The event will focus on how nature-based solutions and sustainability ideas can be transformed into concrete partnerships, future EU proposals and investment opportunities. It will bring together SMEs, project developers, public actors, investors, consultants and regional stakeholders interested in practical cooperation around the green transition, sustainable development and EU-funded innovation.

For Nexuswelt, this event reflects one of our core priorities: connecting ideas with the right partners, funding opportunities and impact pathways. Many strong sustainability concepts need more than visibility. They need structured project development, stakeholder engagement, consortium building, communication strategy and a clear route towards implementation.

During the session, participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, explore cooperation potential and discuss how nature-based solutions can be positioned for future European projects, regional cooperation and investment-oriented partnerships.

The event is connected to EU Green Week 2026 partner events, which in June 2026 focus on investing in nature and showing how nature-positive approaches can create value for people and business.

Nexuswelt will join the SHIELD Project 3rd General Assembly in Palermo, where project partners will review progress, align on the next implementation steps and continue the collaboration around innovation uptake and project communication.

Project general assemblies are an important part of EU-funded project work. They help partners evaluate progress, strengthen internal coordination and prepare the next phase of dissemination, communication and exploitation activities.

At Nexuswelt, we support EU projects in turning technical progress into clear messages for stakeholders, policy audiences, industry and wider target groups.

Nexuswelt will attend European Maritime Day 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus. The event is one of the main EU-level gatherings for the blue economy, maritime innovation and ocean-related policy.

For Nexuswelt, European Maritime Day is especially relevant for projects and partnerships linked to the blue economy, marine innovation, sustainability, coastal regions, circular economy, ports, maritime clusters and EU-funded cooperation.

This event is also relevant for organisations looking for partners in Horizon Europe Cluster 6, LIFE, Interreg and other EU programmes connected to ocean, water, climate and sustainability topics.

Nexuswelt will participate in the Net4Society Matchmaking Event for the 2026 Horizon Europe Cluster 2 calls. The event focuses on Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society and supports organisations in building consortia, exchanging project ideas and preparing for upcoming Horizon Europe proposals.

Horizon Europe Cluster 2 projects often require strong stakeholder engagement, communication with policy and civil society actors, and a clear understanding of societal impact. These are areas where Nexuswelt can support consortia as a dissemination, communication and exploitation partner.

For coordinators and partners preparing Cluster 2 proposals, Nexuswelt can contribute to communication strategy, stakeholder mapping, dissemination planning, exploitation pathways and impact-oriented work package design.

3-4 June 2026 | EIC Summit 2026 | Brussels, Belgium

Nexuswelt will attend the EIC Summit 2026 in Brussels, the flagship event of the European Innovation Council. The Summit brings together startups, scaleups, researchers, investors, EIC beneficiaries, policy actors and innovation ecosystem stakeholders.

For Nexuswelt, the EIC Summit is highly relevant because many EIC and deep-tech innovators need support beyond funding: market positioning, stakeholder visibility, exploitation strategy, communication with non-technical audiences and access to relevant European networks.

Nexuswelt supports innovation-driven organisations in preparing their European positioning and in connecting project results with funders, partners, investors and policy communities.

This event is strongly aligned with Nexuswelt’s work in EU-funded innovation projects, especially in areas such as clean industry, energy transition, digitalisation, manufacturing, sustainability and industrial transformation.

The 2026 edition takes place in Brussels and online under the overarching theme A clean, secure and competitive Energy Union.

EUSEW is relevant for organisations working on clean energy, climate neutrality, energy communities, energy efficiency, renewable energy, industrial transition, policy engagement and EU-funded energy projects.

For Nexuswelt, VivaTech is a strong platform for identifying innovation trends, connecting with technology-driven SMEs and exploring links between startup growth, EU funding and international partnerships.

Many startups and scaleups have strong technology but limited experience with EU-funded projects. Nexuswelt helps such organisations understand how to position themselves in European consortia, communicate their innovation potential and connect with relevant funding and partnership opportunities.

25-26 June 2026 | Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 | Gdansk, Poland

Nexuswelt plans to follow the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdansk. The conference is relevant for international cooperation around Ukraine’s reconstruction, investment, infrastructure, energy, logistics, public-sector support and private-sector partnerships.

For Nexuswelt, this topic is strategically important because Ukraine’s recovery will require strong European cooperation, practical funding pathways and partnerships between public authorities, SMEs, investors, research organisations and innovation actors.

Nexuswelt follows this area with a focus on EU funding, project development, stakeholder engagement and support for organisations seeking to participate in European cooperation around recovery, resilience and innovation.
