Nexuswelt helps European R&I consortia identify exploitable results, assess potential applications and develop business-model and sustainability options. We work with result owners to turn broad exploitation ambitions into documented assumptions, responsibilities and practical next steps.

01 — From Results to Exploitation

Key Exploitable Results

Identify the results with potential for further use. Record their responsible partners, intended users, development status and exploitation dependencies in a structured KER register.

Applications and Value Propositions

Explore who could use each result, which need it addresses and how it compares with existing approaches. Define the assumptions that require validation with users, customers or implementation partners. For semiconductor, digital and industrial results, this can include mapping their place in a value chain and the partners needed for further use.

Business Model Options

Examine how value could be delivered and sustained, including potential customers or funders, delivery partners, costs and revenue options where relevant. Compare models appropriate to the result and its maturity.

Exploitation and Sustainability Plans

Set out the route towards commercial use, further research, service integration, replication or policy application. Agree actions, responsibilities and resource needs for the next stage, including contributions to the project’s plan for the exploitation and dissemination of results.

The scope depends on the project’s results and maturity. Commercial pathways are assessed where relevant; research, public-service and policy results may require different models for continued use.

03 — Working with Result Owners

Technical partners contribute knowledge of the results, development status and intended applications. Nexuswelt supports the analysis and planning around their future use. Intellectual-property decisions, specialist legal advice and investment commitments remain with the responsible partners.

We can contribute through a funded consortium role or a contracted assignment, depending on project needs and the rules of the call. Scope, responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed before work begins.
